We are thrilled to share that Friendlies received the Story Monsters Approved 2025 award in the Picture Books Fiction category.

Friendlies is a rhyming picture book about a cafe where rules of mutual respect and friendship are posted at the door. It follows a grumpy inspector who arrives ready to judge, then stays to listen. Somewhere in that small, interesting shift, something grows.
